Purpose of Policy:
The purpose of this three-strike discipline policy is to establish clear guidelines for addressing performance issues and misconduct by employees of PLAEX Building Systems Inc. The policy aims to maintain a productive and respectful work environment while providing employees with opportunities for improvement.

Policy:

1. First Strike: Verbal Warning

a. Upon the first instance of misconduct or performance issue, the employee will receive a verbal warning from their immediate supervisor or manager
b. The supervisor or manager will document the details of the warning, including the date, time, nature of the issue, and any expectations for improvement.
c. The employee will be given an opportunity to meet with the supervisor or manager to discuss the issue and understand the expectations moving forward.d.The warning will remain on record for a period of 3 months, after which it will be removed if there are no further incidents.

2. Second Strike: Written Warning

a. If the misconduct or performance issue persists after the verbal warning, the employee will receive a written warning from their supervisor or manager.
b. The written warning will outline the previous incident, the date and time of the current incident, and any specific improvements or actions required.
c. The employee will be required to sign the written warning to acknowledge receipt and understanding.d.The written warning will remain on record for a period of 6 months, during which the employee's progress will be monitored closely.

3. Third Strike: Final Written Warning or Termination

a. In the event of a third instance of misconduct or performance issue within the specified time frame, the employee will receive a final written warning from senior management or HR.
b. The final written warning will clearly state the consequences of further infractions, up to and including termination of employment.
c. Depending on the severity of the issue, the employee may be placed on suspension without pay, or probationary status with specific conditions for improvement.d.If the employee fails to meet the expectations outlined in the final warning, termination of employment may occur.

4. Appeal Process

a. Employees have the right to appeal any disciplinary action taken against them.
b. Appeals should be submitted in writing to PLAEX Building Systems Inc.’s Human Resources Manager within 15 days of receiving the disciplinary action.
c. HR will review the appeal and may conduct further investigations or request further meetings with the employee if necessary.
d. The decision of HR regarding the appeal will be final.

5. Implementation

a. This policy will be communicated to all employees upon implementation of policy, hiring of new employees, and will be reiterated regularly through meetings, employee handbooks and online portals, training sessions, and other communication channels.
b. Supervisors and managers will receive training on how to implement the policy effectively and fairly.
c. PLAEXBuilding Systems Inc. Human Resources Manager will oversee the documentation and enforcement of the policy to ensure consistency and adherence to legal requirements.
