PLAEX Licensing Opportunity

Your local waste could be used to #BuildABetterFuture!

Distributed Global Manufacturing Licensing

Bring modular, clean technology to your region.

Due to exceptional global demand we are expanding our network of localized microfactories through licencing. If you are interested in becoming a licensed production partner to manufacture PLAEX products directly in your territory, please fill out our formal application form below.

Due to a high volume of global inquiries, our team will only review and respond to fully completed forms. Thank you for your interest in scaling this infrastructure with us.

Our Technology Stack

The core PLAEX processing system is a fully automated, plug-and-play production line. The equipment is built inside a custom protective steel cage that fits perfectly into a standard 40-foot shipping container for easy transport.

The shipping containers are used for moving the equipment safely, once it arrives at your facility, the caged system is simply pulled out of the container and hooked up to your power and ventilation lines. After minimal setup and calibration it can be operational within days. The engineered cage stays in place to maximize worker safety, completely enclosing moving parts and eliminating any potential pinch points.

* Estimated Cost Per Line: $2M CAD (you must be able to validate funding access)

* Current Equipment Lead Time: 8 to 12 months (as we focus on our initial batch of regional deployments)

* 3% Deposit required to hold your place in the equipment production queue.

Licensee Expectations & Requirements

To ensure structural quality, reliable raw supply, and safe operations, we look for partners who can meet the following physical and operational requirements:

Facility & Space Needs

* You will need an indoor building with at least 4,000 square feet of space. This provides enough room to unbox and hold our caged machinery ( 2x ~40’X10’), store raw materials, and set up your waste-sorting area, and shredding & crushing equipment (Not Included).

* The site must support a continuous, secure 24/7 internet connection so our central team and digital systems can monitor telemetry, ensure QC, digitally validate offsets, and send automatic over-the-air software updates.

Power & Utilities

* The equipment requires reliable access to standard industrial 480-volt (or 600V) three-phase electrical power. The PLAEX Equipment requires approximately 170 kVA at full operation.

* The machinery operates on a highly efficient, 1,500-liter closed-loop water system to prevent any fluid waste.

Staffing & Direct Labor

* Operating the machinery itself is incredibly lean, requiring only 2-3 direct workers per shift. One or two person(s) manages the raw materials feeding into the machine, and one or two person(s) manages the finished products coming out.

* Total shift size typically scales up to 4 or 5 workers to handle ancillary facility tasks, including initial raw waste pre-sorting and handling, production quality control and inventory management, overall management, and maintenance. To ensure your success, PLAEX provides one full month of on-site support and training from a certified PLAEX technician.

Market Development

* Licensees must verify their access to localized building materials markets. PLAEX will provide digital marketing materials.

* If you do not have immediate access to local building materials sales pipelines, we may be able to help, but we cannot guarantee offtake . We get many international inquiries about using our products and we will direct those inquiries to the nearest licensee. We are also developing relationships with some multinational retailers and developers, we may be able to leverage these corporate relationships to help you source and secure sales locally, but we cannot guarantee offtake.

Feedstock Sourcing Support

* Licensees must verify their access to localized waste plastic and aggregate streams.

* If you do not have immediate access to local waste, we may be able to help. Through the PLAEX EPR program, we partner with multinational corporations to manage their end-of-life waste. We can leverage these corporate relationships to help you source and secure steady waste streams locally.
